My Father the Monster

When unfortunate events occur to those you cherish, it creates a disturbance deep within your spirit.  It intensifies your protectiveness and your anger when no action is taken to avert the loss.  An uncontrollable force within is unleashed once a certain point is reached.  He transforms into the very bad thing that takes place.     

As a father filled with rage who adores his daughter more than anything else, his only means of safeguarding her is by stepping away from his family to better cope with his mental well-being.

As it often goes in life, things don't always unfold as one might hope.  The monster that the father expelled from his household grew inside his daughter.  When faced with difficult situations, her responses are something only her father can truly comprehend.

Like father, like daughter...
